Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if ABA therapy is right for my child?
If your child has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or shows signs of developmental or behavioral challenges, ABA therapy can be a powerful support. At EdenPath ABA, we begin with a full assessment to determine if our approach aligns with your child’s needs and goals. We’re here to guide you through every step.
What does a typical therapy session look like?
Sessions are structured, engaging, and tailored to your child’s goals. Depending on their plan, sessions may involve skill-building activities, structured play, communication exercises, or behavior strategies. All activities are designed to be positive and reinforce learning in a fun, meaningful way.
Where does therapy take place?
EdenPath ABA provides therapy in-home, at school, and in community settings—wherever your child can learn most effectively. We work closely with families to determine the most appropriate environment for success.
Do parents participate in therapy?
Absolutely. Parent involvement is a core part of our model. We offer training and coaching to help you apply strategies at home, reinforce your child’s progress, and feel confident in supporting their development.
How is a treatment plan created?
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) conduct a thorough assessment before creating a therapy plan. This plan outlines measurable goals and strategies tailored to your child’s developmental profile and family priorities.
How many hours per week does ABA therapy require?
Therapy recommendations vary based on the child’s age, goals, and needs. Most children receive between 10–40 hours per week. Our BCBAs will guide you on what schedule will be most effective for your child.
Who provides the therapy?
EdenPath ABA’s team includes experienced BCBAs who oversee care and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who implement therapy sessions. All staff are trained, certified, and committed to your child’s progress and well-being.
When will we see progress?
Every child’s timeline is different. Some families notice positive changes in a few weeks, while others may see gradual progress over months. We continuously track and adjust each plan to keep progress consistent and meaningful.
